Premio, operating out of the Los Angeles hub, is the consumer services division of Prestige
International. Premio administers a variety of programs
specially designed to meet the needs of the expatriate
Japanese community in the United States. Premio's
principal product is a co-branded credit card
issued through an exclusive arrangement with First National Bank of Omaha to qualified Japanese individuals who are
unable to apply for US bankcards due to their
lack of a domestic credit history. In 1997, Premio
partnered with Japan Airlines to develop a mileage
card on behalf of JAL's frequent flyer members
residing in the US.
This JAL Family Club Premio Card is currently
the only credit card issued outside of Japan that
enables members to accumulate mileage rewards
directly on Japan Airlines. In its ongoing effort
to expand the scope of its services, Premio recently
introduced Premio Car Life Support, an auto club
membership with pricing and benefits superior
to AAA and supported by 24/7 Japanese customer
service.
Through its card, insurance, auto club and other
distinctive programs, Premio provides a one-stop
gateway for this select Japanese clientele to
